Love Bikes? Turn That Passion Into Business – Become a Quad Warehouse Trade Partner
Love Bikes? Turn That Passion Into Business – Become a Quad Warehouse Trade Partner If bikes, engines, dirt and anything with handlebars are already part of your business, why not add another revenue stream? Quad Warehouse is looking to build relationships with established retailers, garages, motorcycle specialists, outdoor activity businesses and other like-minded companies that share our enthusiasm for bikes and off-road adventure. You may already have the customers. You may already have the showroom, workshop, website or local reputation. What you might not have is a strong range of quad bikes, dirt bikes and associated products to offer them. That's where we come in. Quad Warehouse already works with UK trade partners and offers qualifying businesses access to trade pricing, stock availability and aftercare support. Your customers could already be asking for these products Think about the people who walk through your door. If you sell motorcycles, motocross equipment, e-bikes, automotive products, outdoor equipment or leisure products, there is a good chance some of those customers are interested in much more than the product they originally came in to buy. The same person who spends their weekends riding a motorcycle might have a son or daughter desperate for their first dirt bike. The customer buying motocross clothing may be looking for a junior quad. An e-bike customer may be fascinated by the performance now available from electric off-road bikes. A garage customer may own land and want another recreational vehicle for the family. Related markets overlap. Adding quad bikes and dirt bikes doesn't necessarily mean finding an entirely new customer base. For many businesses, it's about offering more to the customers you already know. Who are we looking to work with? You don't necessarily need a specialist quad-bike dealership. In fact, some of the most interesting opportunities could come from businesses that sit alongside the market. We'd like to hear from businesses such as: Motorcycle, motocross and dirt-bike dealers Independent motorcycle garages and workshops ATV and off-road vehicle specialists E-bike and electric mobility retailers Outdoor pursuit and adventure businesses Farm, agricultural and country stores Motorsport and karting businesses Outdoor clothing and equipment retailers Leisure and recreational vehicle businesses Online bike and powersports retailers Independent businesses with an existing enthusiast customer base Quad Warehouse's existing trade programme specifically welcomes established retailers, motorbike or ATV specialists and outdoor activity suppliers, whether they're operating through a showroom, garage or online store. And there's one thing we'd particularly like our partners to have: A genuine love of bikes. Because customers can tell the difference between somebody simply trying to sell them a product and somebody who understands why riding is so addictive. From children's first quads to serious off-road machines One advantage of the Quad Warehouse range is the breadth of customer it can potentially appeal to. At one end, there are compact children's electric and petrol quad bikes aimed at younger riders. At the other, the range extends into larger junior and adult dirt bikes and high-powered electric off-road machines. Quad Warehouse currently offers petrol and electric quads, petrol and electric dirt bikes, accessories, protection and replacement parts. That gives trade partners an opportunity to talk to customers at different stages of their riding journey. A family's first purchase might be a small children's quad. Later it could be a bigger junior machine. Then a dirt bike. Then protective equipment, parts and accessories. The opportunity isn't necessarily about making one sale. It's about creating a customer relationship around a hobby people can enjoy for years. Electric has changed the off-road conversation If your business is already involved with e-bikes or electric mobility, off-road electric machines are an especially interesting crossover. Modern electric quads and dirt bikes can offer impressive performance without the characteristics customers traditionally associate with petrol engines. For example, Quad Warehouse currently stocks children's electric quads alongside powerful electric dirt bikes and adult electric quads. That makes the range potentially relevant to businesses whose customers are already interested in electric technology but want something considerably more exciting than their daily commute. And when somebody walks into your shop to talk about batteries, motors and performance, an electric off-road bike makes a pretty good conversation starter. Give your showroom something people stop and look at There are products customers walk past. And there are products that make them stop. Quad bikes and dirt bikes tend to fall into the second category. Put a junior quad or dirt bike in the right showroom and it immediately creates interest. Children notice it. Parents notice it. Bike enthusiasts notice it. Even people who weren't originally shopping for one start asking questions. For businesses with physical premises, adding off-road bikes can therefore do something beyond simply expanding the product range. It can bring a bit of theatre to the showroom. Something exciting. Something different. Something people want to sit on, photograph and talk about. Already running a garage or workshop? Then you have another major advantage. People buying bikes value businesses that understand machinery. If your team already works with motorcycles, small engines, electrical systems or similar equipment, you're starting from a position of credibility. Your customers already trust you. You already understand mechanical products. You may already stock oils, helmets, gloves, tools or related accessories. And you already have conversations every day with people who enjoy riding. Adding off-road products can therefore feel like a natural extension of what you're already doing rather than starting an entirely separate business. Online retailers are welcome too A physical showroom isn't essential. Quad Warehouse's trade application specifically invites businesses operating online as well as showrooms and garages. So if you've already built an audience through an established motorcycle, outdoor, automotive or leisure ecommerce business, adding a complementary off-road category could open up an additional avenue for growth. You already understand digital retail. You already know your customer acquisition costs. You may already have an email database and social following. Most importantly, you've already done the difficult part: building an audience of people interested in the sector. More products for the customers you've already paid to acquire This is one of the simplest arguments for adding a related product range. Finding a brand-new customer is difficult. Selling another relevant product to an existing customer is a completely different proposition. Imagine you've spent years building a customer base around: Motorcycles. Motocross. Outdoor adventure. E-bikes. Motorsport. Farming. Country living. Why send that customer somewhere else when they decide the family wants a quad bike? A trade partnership allows businesses to broaden what they can offer without abandoning the sector they're already known for. Same passion. Same type of customer. More opportunity. Something for Christmas, birthdays and beyond Junior quad bikes and dirt bikes also sit in a slightly unusual retail position. They're serious recreational machines, but they're also the kind of product capable of becoming the big birthday or Christmas present a child remembers for years. For retailers, that creates opportunities to market around gifting periods while still selling something that can be used throughout the year. Spring riding. Summer holidays. Autumn mud. Crisp winter weekends. Off-road riding isn't restricted to one season. That gives trade partners multiple reasons to talk about the products throughout the year rather than relying entirely on a short seasonal sales window. Aftercare matters Selling mechanical products isn't simply about putting a box through a checkout. Customers need confidence that somebody is there when they have questions. That's why Quad Warehouse's trade proposition isn't presented simply as access to cheaper stock. The company states that trade partners can receive trade pricing, stock access and aftercare support. Quad Warehouse also stocks spare parts alongside its bike ranges, supporting the wider ownership journey beyond the initial purchase. That's particularly relevant for existing motorcycle dealers and garages because aftercare is likely to be something your customers already value from your business. You don't need to become something you're not We're not looking for businesses to suddenly remove everything from their showroom and become a dedicated quad-bike dealer. Quite the opposite. The opportunity is strongest when the products complement what you already do. If you're a bike shop, stay a bike shop. If you're a garage, stay a garage. If you're an outdoor retailer, keep doing what made your business successful. But if your customers also love bikes, engines, outdoor adventure and getting muddy, there could be room for something else alongside your existing range. A quad in the corner. A dirt bike in the window. A new category on your website. And potentially, another valuable income stream for your business. Let's Grow Together Quad Warehouse is actively interested in speaking with established businesses that would like to stock or resell our bikes. Whether you operate from a showroom, garage or established ecommerce store, we'd like to hear about your business, the area you cover and the products you currently sell. You don't have to know everything about quad bikes from day one. But it certainly helps if you understand the feeling that makes somebody look at a bike and immediately want to ride it. Love bikes? Your customers probably do too. Turn that passion into another opportunity for your business. 👉 Apply for a Quad Warehouse Trade Account The existing Quad Warehouse trade application is already set up to capture company details, VAT status, area covered and products currently sold, so I'd make that the primary CTA from this blog rather than creating a separate enquiry process.

Kids’ Quad Biking: Swap Screen Time for Ride Time
Swap Screen Time for Ride Time: Why Autumn Is Perfect for Kids’ Quad Biking Autumn arrives, the temperature drops, the evenings get darker and suddenly one of the easiest ways to keep the kids occupied is also sitting right there on the sofa. A phone. A tablet. A games console. We all do it. When it is warm and sunny, getting children outside feels relatively easy. But once the leaves start falling and the weather becomes less predictable, it can be tempting to accept that outdoor adventures are finished until spring. At Quad Warehouse, we think autumn should mean exactly the opposite. Mud, leaves, boots, helmets and a quad bike can make autumn one of the best times of the year to get outside. Quad biking isn't just a summer activity. With the right equipment, appropriate clothing, responsible adult supervision and suitable private land, it can be brilliant year-round fun. Children are spending a lot of time online Screens are now a normal part of childhood. They are used for schoolwork, entertainment, communication and gaming, so the answer isn't necessarily to try to eliminate them altogether. But balance matters. Ofcom's research into UK children's online habits found that children aged 8–14 spend almost three hours online every day on smartphones, tablets and computers alone. Among 13–14-year-olds, that rises to around four hours per day — and those figures don't include time spent using games consoles. That means a child spending three hours a day online could clock up roughly 21 hours of internet use in a week. That's almost an entire waking day. The challenge for parents isn't simply saying, "put your phone down." It's giving children something they'd actually rather do. And that's where outdoor adventure comes in. Don't just remove the screen. Replace it with an experience. Anyone who has tried taking a tablet away from an absorbed child knows that simply announcing "go outside" isn't always greeted with enthusiasm. Children need a reason to go outside. Something exciting. Something they can improve at. Something they look forward to doing again. For youngsters who love machines and adventure, quad biking ticks a lot of those boxes. It changes an autumn afternoon from another few hours scrolling or gaming into an event. Getting their riding kit ready. Checking the quad. Walking the course with Mum or Dad. Learning how to control the throttle. Improving their steering. Tackling a muddy section they couldn't manage last month. Suddenly being outdoors isn't the boring alternative to a screen. It's the main event. More than half of children still aren't active enough The latest Sport England Active Lives Children and Young People survey found that 49.1% of children aged 5–16 achieved an average of at least 60 minutes of physical activity per day. That's positive progress, but it also means more than half weren't reaching the recommended level. Around 28.4% — approximately 2.1 million children — averaged less than 30 minutes of physical activity per day. Current UK Chief Medical Officers' guidance recommends that children and young people aged 5–18 aim for an average of at least 60 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity each day across the week, while also reducing long periods of inactivity. A quad bike isn't a substitute for running, sport, cycling or other exercise, of course. But a day built around riding can encourage something just as valuable: getting off the sofa and spending more time outdoors. Preparing the bike, walking the riding area, moving equipment, playing outdoors between rides and spending an afternoon away from sedentary screen use all contribute towards a more active lifestyle. Outdoor adventures can be good for young minds too There is another reason this matters. The NHS's most recent major survey of children's mental health found that in 2023, 20.3% of children aged 8–16 had a probable mental disorder. The figures don't mean phones or tablets are responsible, and outdoor activity shouldn't be presented as a treatment for mental-health conditions. But they do highlight the importance of giving young people opportunities for positive experiences, activity, confidence and time with family. Physical activity itself is associated with better mental health in children and young people. UK government guidance also highlights benefits including confidence, social skills, coordination, concentration, improved sleep and simply feeling good. And that's something parents can easily underestimate. Learning to ride a quad involves concentration. A youngster has to watch where they're going, judge the terrain, steer, brake, control their speed and gradually develop confidence. There's no endless scrolling. No next video. No notifications. For a while, their attention is firmly on what's happening right now. Autumn might actually be the perfect quad biking season Summer understandably gets most of the attention when families think about outdoor activities. But autumn has a character all of its own. Firm tracks become muddier. Leaves fall. Puddles appear. Familiar areas suddenly feel different and youngsters have to adapt their riding accordingly. And let's face it — kids generally don't mind getting muddy nearly as much as adults do. A crisp autumn weekend can become something they talk about all week. Rather than dreading the colder months, having an outdoor hobby gives youngsters something to look forward to. That's why we describe quad biking as year-round fun. You don't need 25°C sunshine to have an adventure. You just need the right day, the right location and the right equipment. Confidence comes from learning, not just entertainment One of the biggest differences between passive entertainment and an activity such as quad biking is progression. Children can actually see themselves improving. The first session might simply involve learning the controls. Then it's smoother steering. Better braking. Maintaining a sensible speed. Reading the ground ahead. Negotiating turns. Becoming more confident without becoming careless. That sense of achievement can be incredibly rewarding. A screen gives instant entertainment. A skill gives youngsters something they've earned. It can become family time too Quad biking doesn't have to mean dropping the children outside and leaving them to it. For younger riders in particular, responsible supervision should be part of the experience. That creates something increasingly valuable: time together without everyone looking at a different screen. Parents can set out a simple course, teach basic checks, watch their child's progress and make riding part of a weekend routine. And when you've finished? Hot chocolate, muddy boots and an argument about whose turn it is to clean the quad. That's proper family entertainment. Safety always comes before speed Of course, getting children outdoors doesn't mean throwing safety out of the window. A children's quad should be appropriate for the rider's age, size, ability and experience. Young riders should wear suitable protective equipment, including an appropriate helmet, and should always be properly supervised. Quad Warehouse stocks children's machines ranging from smaller beginner models through to larger junior petrol and electric quads, alongside protective equipment. The website also includes a Bike Matcher designed to help parents narrow down an appropriate type of machine. Autumn conditions also require extra care. Wet grass, mud, fallen leaves and reduced daylight can affect grip and visibility, so riders should slow down and conditions should always be assessed before riding. Children's off-road quads should only be used in an appropriate location where riding is permitted, such as suitable private land with the landowner's permission. The goal isn't maximum speed. It's maximum enjoyment with sensible control. Make autumn the season they remember Phones aren't going anywhere. Neither are tablets, YouTube, gaming or social media. And they don't have to. The aim is balance. A child who has something genuinely exciting waiting outside is far easier to prise away from a screen than one being told to switch it off simply because they've "been on it too long". So this autumn, don't automatically write off outdoor fun because summer has finished. Charge the battery. Fuel the quad. Grab the helmet. Pull on the wellies. And go and make some mud. Because sometimes the best way to reduce screen time isn't another rule. It's giving them an adventure that's better than the screen. Find their next adventure at Quad Warehouse From kids' electric quad bikes to junior petrol quads, protective gear and replacement parts, Quad Warehouse has machines for different ages and levels of riding experience. The current range also includes an online Bike Matcher to help families start their search. Put the screen down. Get the helmet on. Ride more.

The 5-Minute Pre-Ride Safety Inspection for Dirt Bikes & Quads
Before you fire up the engine and head out onto the track, trail, or mud pit, there is one crucial step that separates a great day of riding from an expensive trip back on a tow strap: the pre-ride inspection. Whether you are tearing up loose dirt on a pit bike or navigating steep inclines on a quad bike, off-road machinery operates under extreme stress. Heavy impacts, persistent vibration, mud, and water can loosen hardware, wear out brake pads, or alter tire pressure faster than on-road riding ever could. A comprehensive quad bike pre ride inspection checklist takes just five minutes, but it drastically reduces your risk of breakdown or injury. Here is how to adapt the proven T-CLOC system specifically for off-road dirt bikes, quads, and pit bikes. The Off-Road T-CLOC Inspection MethodOriginally developed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation for road bikes, the T-CLOC system (Tires, Controls, Lights, Oil, Chain/Chassis) is easily adapted for off-road vehicles. 1. T – Tires & WheelsOff-road grip depends entirely on tire health, but safety goes far beyond thread depth. Check Tire Pressure (PSI): Quad bikes are particularly sensitive to uneven tire pressure. If one rear tire is running 2–3 PSI lower than the other, the quad’s handling will pull dramatically during acceleration or cornering, significantly increasing the risk of a rollover on sharp turns or uneven trails. Inspect Rim and Bead Seals: Look for dented wheel rims, bent beadlocks, or debris wedged between the tire bead and rim that could cause a slow air leak during a ride. Spoke Tension (Dirt & Pit Bikes): Tap your dirt bike's wheel spokes with a small wrench. A loose spoke will produce a dull thud instead of a clear ringing sound. 2. C – Controls & BrakesIf your controls fail mid-jump or on a steep descent, you have zero margin for error. Dirt bike maintenance safety starts right here at the handlebars. Throttle Return Check: Twist the throttle full open and release it at full left, center, and full right handlebar lock. The throttle must snap back instantly to idle in all positions. A sticky throttle wire on a pit bike or dirt bike is a primary cause of runaway crashes. Brake Pad Wear & Lever Feel: Visually inspect the brake pads inside the caliper. If the friction material is thinner than 2mm, replace them before hitting aggressive trails. Squeeze the front and rear levers—if they feel spongy, air has entered the hydraulic lines or your brake fluid is low. 3. L – Lights, Tether & Kill SwitchElectrical safety checks are especially quick, but vital for emergency situations. Kill Switch Test: Start the engine and immediately hit the handlebar kill switch. The engine should shut off instantly. Tether Switches (ATVs & Quads): If your quad bike uses a wrist-tether kill switch, attach the lanyard and pull it firmly to verify it immediately kills the ignition. This prevents runaway quads if you are thrown from the machine. Lights: Ensure your headlight and brake lights are clean and operational, especially if you expect dusk or low-visibility woodland conditions. 4. O – Oil, Coolant & FluidsHigh-RPM off-road riding burns through engine fluids quickly under heavy engine load. Engine Oil Level: Check the sight glass or dipstick while the machine is on flat ground. Dark, burnt-smelling oil or low oil levels will lead to rapid engine seizure. Coolant & Brake Fluid: Inspect the coolant expansion tank and brake fluid reservoirs for proper levels and clear fluid color. Look for Leaks: Check under the crankcase, fork seals, and rear shock absorbers for fresh oil drips or weeping fluid. 5. C – Chain, Sprockets & ChassisAggressive track or trail riding subjects the drive line and frame to intense shock loads. Chain Tension & Lubrication: Measure chain slack according to your owner manual (typically 30–45mm of play). A chain that is too loose can derail and crack your engine casing, while a chain that is too tight restricts rear suspension travel and snaps under compression. Sprocket Tooth Wear: Look for hooked, thinned, or missing sprocket teeth. Chassis & Hardware Tightness: Give your handlebars, footpegs, axle nuts, and A-arm bolts a quick torque check. Off-road vibration frequently backs out un-torqued fasteners. Don't Let Worn Parts Ruin Your Ride DayPerforming a 5-minute pit bike safety check before every ride ensures small wear-and-tear items are caught before they turn into catastrophic mechanical failures out in the wild. If your pre-ride inspection turns up worn brake pads, a stretched chain, leaking seals, or rounded sprockets, don't compromise on safety. Keep your machine performing at its best by sourcing high-quality OEM and aftermarket parts from Quad Warehouse Spare Parts & Replacement Components. Stocking your toolbox with essential spare levers, brake pads, and fluids means you will never have to cancel a ride day again.
